Monthly Business Mixers: April 24th 2008

- Every last Thursday in every month at the very stylish Prospect Bar & Lounge in La Jolla. Normally this is a free event where we welcome anyone who's interested in making new business connections or just want to mingle and socialize. Valborg Celebration: May 3rd 2008

- Join SACC SD/TJ as we match the best of two worlds: The beaches of La Jolla and the traditional, Swedish Valborg Celebration! For only $5, food and fire is included. Bring your own drinks, guitars and friends!

Midsummer Celebration: June 2008

- A social event focusing on one of our most popular events, the Swedish Midsummer. There will be food, drinks and raffle prizes for you so bring the entire family! More information will follow in May.

Crayfish Party: September 2008

- Another summertime eating and drinking celebration. The crayfish are boiled in salted water and seasoned with fresh "dill" — preferably "crown dill", harvested after the plant has flowered — then served cold and eaten with the fingers. A real delicate! More information about the event will follow in August.

 
Christmas Luncheon: December 2008

- A traditional Christmas dinner featuring a beautiful "Lucia tåg" performing and hot "glögg" is served, everything for our SACC San Diego friends. Raffle prizes and goodie bags for the children are included. Maybe even Santa Claus will show up this winter again! This event is open for public, more information will follow in November.
