Time Overview

The Mentorship Program runs from October to May. The mentor and mentees will meet ten times during the eight-month period. An alternative meeting frequency may be arranged between the mentor and the protégé on a case by case basis. The first meeting will primarily focus on the introduction of the mentor. The second meeting will focus on the protégé. The remaining meetings will be utilized to discuss areas of special and mutual interest to both parties.

There is also an opportunity to apply for a single semester which can be suitable for young professionals who have a limited time in San Diego. The single semester program runs twice a year, fall and spring. During this time mentor and mentees will meet six times during a three-month period. An eight month program will lead to a greater exchange of knowledge and expertise between the Mentor and the Mentee and therefore preferable.
