SACC SD/TJ's Mentorship Program

Last application date: February 25th. 2008

Young ambitious students/professionals matched with experienced professionals

It is again time for the Mentorship Program where new mentors and mentees will
have the opportunity to participate. The Mentorship program, launched by the
Junior Chamber, will focus on linking students and young professionals with
established knowledgeable professionals.
The program starts in September and February every year.

The Junior Chamber matches one of our student or young professional members with one of many successful members of the Chamber, or other organizations. This gives young professionals a chance to learn from someone who has already "been there, done that" and thereby provides the student with opportunities to network and to gain career advice. The mentor will have the satisfaction of sharing knowledge and experience with a mentee with fresh ideas and insight. Other benefits of the program include interpersonal support, guidance, mutual experience exchange, coaching and role modeling.

“The best thing about giving of ourselves is that what we get is always better than what we give. The reaction is greater than the action.”

--Orison Swett Marden (1850-1924) Founder of the American Success Movement--
