In the Beginning of 2002 The Junior Chamber was founded as a sub-division to the original Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the Junior Chamber is to enhance the relationship between primarily Scandinavian students/young professionals, Universities and companies in the San Diego region. We discovered a demand from students to do their internships/projects at worthwhile positions within different organizations, as well as their need to create a network for future employment. Together with companies' challenge to find competent workforce, we thought that it would be rewarding to provide an arena for students and companies to get together and meet. Further, the Junior Chamber is bringing together the many Scandinavian students/young professionals in the region to simply have fun and to celebrate the different Swedish traditions.

Junior Chamber events includes:

2. Valborg Celebration
3. Guest Speakers
4. Social Mixers

Also, there are several other events hosted by the main Chamber organization, open for all our Junior members, including the Annual Golf Tournament, Speaker's Dinner, the Annual Christmas Luncheon and Lucia Celebration etc.

Join us now and you can attend these events for about half the prize, and you will have the opportunity to network with various companies and make new connections. You will also receive the monthly newsletter and the SACC Insider Magazine and have the unique opportunity to enjoy Swedish traditions in San Diego. All this for only $20 a year!
