The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in San Diego/Tijuana is prepared to seek contacts for you both within the SACC membership and the business community at large. Business Assistance Program
We have established the "Business Assistance Program" so that you may benefit from our members' experience and expertise. Before you decide whether to, or how to establish your presence in the San Diego/Tijuana region, it is wise to prepare for the differences you will encounter. We provide referrals to members who can assist you in researching what marketing strategies will work best in the target market and making sure you get legal advice. Legal issues include export/import policies and regulations, intellectual property (patent, trademark and copyright), various types of business entities, and the liability and tax consequences flowing from each. By taking advantage of the Business Assistance Program you can avoid time-consuming and costly mistakes. We are on location and have access to information and a network of referrals. Our initial guidance to you is offered at a nominal fee. For further assistance, market rates and fees will apply.
