Magnus Gunnarsson
President
Magnus has a background in Strategy Consulting, Product
Management and business Development from the Information and
Communication Technology industry. He has worked at Ericsson
in Strategy and new technology development, and came to
San Diego 2001 to help commercialize the "Always Best Connected”
and Multi-Access concept in the Ericsson CDMA Business Unit.
Since 2005 Magnus has been active in smaller start-up companies
in Silicon Valley, Europe and San Diego. He holds a BA in Finance
from Linkoping University, Sweden and an MBA in Finance and Strategy
from University of Oregon. He lives in the Del Mar/Carmel Valley area
with wife and three children and enjoys mountain biking in the
surrounding canyons as well as downhill skiing.

Rolf Brandes
Director
Dr. Rolf Brandes received his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Linköping
University, a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Stockholm University, and
simultaneously a second Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of California,
San Diego. After his postdoctoral work at University of California
San Francisco, where he used NMR to study cardiac ischemia, he was
Assistant Professor at Loyola University Medical School, Chicago where
he continued his cardiac function research.
He subsequently started to consult for the Biotech industry and moved
back to San Diego to work with several companies. He founded and is the
CEO of Tutek, Inc, a San Diego based company with factory in China.
Dr. Brandes has several patents, more than 30 peer-reviewed publications
and has received numerous grants and awards.

Ulf Sundberg
Director
Ulf Sundberg has spent 6 years in the San Diego high tech industry,
currently working at the R&D unit of Intuit. During his time at Ericsson
Ulf spent 9 years in United Kingdom and 7 years in Japan with technical
project and program management. His background includes training in
the Stanford Advanced Project Management program. Ulf is a member
of San Diego Software Industry Council SDSIC and has contacts with
AeA Product Development Roundtable San Diego.

Åke Persson
Director
Ake Persson, a graduate of Uppsala University, has held a variety of
executive positions within the Ericsson group. When retiring in 2004,
Ake was the President of Ericsson Wireless Communications Inc. in
San Diego and a member of the Ericsson Group Executive Management
Team. Prior to that, he served as VP of Marketing and Sales for all of
Ericsson's wireless systems activities. Ake has established and managed
several new business lines and served on the board of several Ericsson
companies around the world. Today, Ake is engaged with consulting
activities and serves as a director on corporate boards. Ake is a member
of the Council of Advisors of the Jacobs School of Engineering at UCSD,
and is a member of the Chairmen's Round Table in San Diego. |

Nils Olsson
Director
Dr. Nils U. Olsson has over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical/
biotech industries and academia in the US and in Sweden. His industry
background includes R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management
at Élan Pharmaceuticals, Alliance Pharmaceutical Corp., KabiVitrum AB
and Karlshamns LipidTeknik AB. Since 2002 he is Senior Director of Quality
at Sangart, Inc., an innovative biotech located in San Diego, developing a
hemoglobin-based blood substitute. Nils has also been involved with
several start-ups and fund raising in the medical diagnosis, natural products
and beverage industries.
Nils received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of
Stockholm in 1991 and did a post-doc at The National Institutes of Health
in Bethesda, MD, between 1994 and 1997. His primary areas of research
have been lipid chemistry and analytical methods development. Nils is the
author of over 30 scientific publications and several patents.

Christian Braemer

Christian Braemer founded Joe Media in Oct. 2006 after leaving his Financial
Advisor position at Merrill Lynch. After graduating from Copenhagen Business
School, he served as a Sergeant/Section Commander in the Royal Danish
Army’s light infantry division. While there he was elected Vice National
Spokesman for enlisted personnel and served in Kosovo as a U.N. peacekeeper.
Upon completing his national service he returned to the U.S. and opened
Janee Z’s, a fine dining restaurant & lounge, with his mother. He took over as
Owner/GM of the business after a year and subsequently ran it for another two,
creating one of the most popular hotspots in the Palm Springs area. He
subsequently sold the business and moved to LA to take a Project Management/
Sales position with U.S. Home Systems (NASDAQ sym. USHS) the largest home
improvement company in U.S. He quickly became a ‘top 5’ performer in the
company and set a sales record that held for several years to come. Christian
was then recruited to Morgan Stanley to become a Financial Advisor where he
completed his licenses and attained his client acquisition goals. He later moved
his book of business to Merrill Lynch where he focused on corporate cash
management and private equity investments on behalf of his clients. Christian
also served as President of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce.

Bo Hedfors

Bo Hedfors is the founder of the telecom/internet consulting practice Hedfone
Consulting, Inc, and is a veteran in the telecom business management and
technology. Previously, Bo was Executive Vice President of Motorola and
President of its global wireless infrastructure business based in Chicago.
Prior to that, Mr. Hedfors spent 30 years in different management positions at
Ericsson. Mr. Hedfors is a Chairman of Virtutech and a member of the Royal
Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Peter Mothander

Peter Mothander has a bachelor in Business Administration from the Stockholm
University. Peter has an extensive experience from working in within the
financial field for over 30 years. Peter is fluent in English, German, French and
Swedish and has worked in the Scandinavian countries, Luxembourg, Belgium a
nd the U.S, with financial consulting, venture capital, banking and teaching.
